$2,000 Scholarship Award Per Semester
Total Award: $4,000 ($2,000 per semester)
Supporting students from the communities we serve who are pursuing careers in the health care field or health care administration.
About The Scholarship
The ECFH Board Scholarship provides financial support to students who are committed to pursuing a career in health care services or in the administration of health care.
Scholarship awards are sent to the School of Record for distribution to the awardee.
Eligibility
- Enrolled full time (12 credits or more) in an accredited college or program
- Pursuing a career in a health care field or health care administration
- Residents of the communities El Centro Family Health serves
If employed with El Centro Family Health, you must be a PRN employee. Full-time and Part-time ECFH employees are not eligible for this scholarship.
What You Can Study
- Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses
- Behavioral Health practitioners, Home Health providers
- Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants
- Health care administration: Management, Operations, Financial, Medical Billing, Medical Records, Human Resources, Maintenance, Secretarial, Administrative, and more

The Selection Process
The Scholarship Committee of the Board of Directors reviews all complete applications received by the deadline. Students who meet all requirements will be recommended to the full Board of Directors for award, subject to available funding and the accuracy of information provided. Awards are sent directly to the School of Record.

Spring/Fall Academic Year
Application packet due: November 1
Incomplete and/or late applications will not be considered.
Application Packet Checklist
- Completed Scholarship Application
- Personal Statement (250 words or less)
- Letter of Acceptance from School
- Proof of Full-Time Enrollment (12+ credits)
- Recommendation Form (sent by recommender)
- Official Transcripts (requested from school or included)
