taking shape in the form of an organizational effort that kicked off with a 5K/1mile walk event series now in its 4th year. ECFH sponsored the first Suicide Summit in 2016 to initiate the conversation state-wide about the need for more specific efforts to help those impacted by suicide.

Our plan is to develop and help support efforts around prevention, intervention, and the treatment of suicidal behavior & ideation with a primary focus on adolescents and their families. As a healthcare team we believe it takes efforts by all who are impacted by suicide in order to create positive change.

The ripple impact of suicide doesn’t end with the individuals who take their life by suicide but spreads to family, friends, and the community.
